Sisterhood Shuffle Community Guidelines & Participation Agreement
Welcome to Sisterhood Shuffle 💌
A collaborative happy mail art exchange built on creativity, kindness, storytelling, and connection.
Before participating in any Sisterhood Shuffle exchange, all members are required to review and agree to the following community guidelines and participation expectations.
Our goal is to create a safe, welcoming, uplifting space where women can share handmade creativity and meaningful connection through happy mail and collaborative art.
Community Expectations
By participating in Sisterhood Shuffle, you agree to:
✅ Treat all members with kindness, respect, and encouragement.
✅ Create a welcoming environment free from bullying, harassment, hate speech, discrimination, threats, or inappropriate behavior.
✅ Respect the creativity, artistic style, skill level, and personal expression of other members.
✅ Participate in good faith and communicate honestly if life circumstances prevent you from participating in a shuffle round.
✅ Understand that Sisterhood Shuffle is intended to be a positive, supportive, creative community — not a platform for drama, solicitation, or harmful conduct.
Mailing & Participation Expectations
By joining a shuffle group, you understand and agree that:
✅ Your first name, mailing name, and shipping address will be shared with your assigned Sisterhood Shuffle group participants for the purpose of completing the exchange.
✅ Sisterhood Shuffle will make every reasonable effort to protect member information and privacy; however, participation in physical mail exchanges requires limited sharing of mailing information between participants.
✅ You are responsible for mailing your completed project by the stated mail deadline for each shuffle round.
✅ If you are unable to participate after signing up, you are expected to notify the Sisterhood Shuffle team and your group as soon as possible.
✅ Repeated failure to participate, failure to communicate, or failure to mail assigned projects may result in removal from current and/or future shuffle groups.
Community Removal Policy
To protect the integrity and safety of the community, Sisterhood Shuffle reserves the right to remove any participant, account, or member from:

the website,
-
community spaces,
-
exchange groups,
-
social groups,
-
or future participation opportunities
at any time and for any reason, including but not limited to:

inappropriate conduct,
-
harassment,
-
repeated non-participation,
-
failure to communicate,
-
misuse of member information,
-
or behavior deemed harmful to the community experience.
Whenever possible, we will attempt to contact members prior to removal to clarify concerns or participation issues. However, Sisterhood Shuffle reserves the right to take immediate action when necessary to protect the community.
Creativity & Content Guidelines
Sisterhood Shuffle celebrates creativity in all forms and skill levels. However, members agree not to send:

hateful or discriminatory content,

explicit sexual content,

graphic violent material,
-
threatening messages,
-
illegal materials,
-
political material,
-
or intentionally harmful items.
This is intended to remain a safe and uplifting creative space.
Shipping & Exchange Disclaimer
Sisterhood Shuffle is a community-based collaborative exchange platform.
While we strive to create a positive and reliable experience, we cannot guarantee:

delivery timelines,
-
postal service reliability,
-
or completion of exchanges by individual participants.
By participating, members acknowledge that exchanges are community-driven and participation is voluntary.
Photography & Community Sharing
Members understand that:

artwork,
-
happy mail,
-
journal pages,
-
and exchange reveals
may be shared within the Sisterhood Shuffle website, galleries, newsletters, and social media pages for community celebration and promotional purposes unless a member specifically requests otherwise.
Personal mailing addresses and sensitive information will never be publicly shared.
Age Requirement
Participants must be 18 years of age or older to participate in Sisterhood Shuffle exchanges and community spaces.
