Help us shape the next chapter of the Sisterhood Shuffle.

When the Sisterhood Shuffle started, the idea was pretty simple: create something beautiful, send it through the mail, and make someone’s trip to the mailbox a little more exciting.

And then something pretty wonderful happened. Hundreds of you joined us. Groups formed. Pages started traveling. Friendships started developing. Happy mail began showing up in mailboxes week after week. We added ATC swaps, state swaps, stash swaps, and new groups as more people discovered the Sisterhood.

And along the way, we’ve learned a LOT.

Now, as we look ahead to January 2027, I think it’s the perfect time to ask:

 

What should the next version of the Sisterhood Shuffle look like?

There are some things I absolutely want to preserve. I love the continuous flow of happy mail. I love that we send individual pages instead of mailing an entire journal around the country and the world. I love seeing completely different artistic styles, experience levels, personalities, and interpretations of our themes. And most importantly, I love that this has become a place where creativity creates connection.

But there are also opportunities to make the Shuffle easier to join, easier to participate in, more flexible, and much easier to manage as our Sisterhood continues to grow.

That’s where I need your help.

If You Could Design the Next Sisterhood Shuffle…

What would you keep?

What would you change?

Would you prefer smaller groups or larger ones?

Should we continue with two-month rounds, or would you rather have a different schedule?

Would you like to choose groups based on themes, interests, locations, or types of art?

Should members be able to create their own Shuffle groups and invite others to join them?

Would you like groups with different participation or commitment levels?

Should there be groups that stay together longer instead of reshuffling throughout the year?

What would make the Sisterhood Shuffle even more fun for you?

And just as importantly:

What is already working that you absolutely do NOT want us to change?

 

This Is Your Sisterhood, Too.

I have lots of ideas for where we could take this in 2027 including ways to make joining groups more automatic, give members more choices, and create opportunities for even more people to participate. And even move this to an app.

But I don't want to build the next version based solely on what I think would work. I want to hear from the people actually doing the Shuffle. Below you’ll find a short poll about your experience and what you’d like to see next.

Some questions are multiple choice. Some will let you select several options. And there’s plenty of room for you to tell me:

“Tiffany, here's what I think we should do…” Those suggestions might be the most important part. So dream a little.

Tell me what you love. Tell me what drives you crazy. Tell me what would make participating easier. Tell me about something you've seen in another creative community that you think we should steal, I mean, lovingly borrow. 😂
