Sisterhood Shuffle - Round 3, Fun new groups, and a 2027 poll
Hello, Sisters!
Can you believe we’re already wrapping up Round Two and getting ready to jump into Round Three of the Sisterhood Shuffle?!
First, I just want to say a HUGE thank you.
We now have more than 300 women participating in the Sisterhood Shuffle and are inching our way toward 400, and I continue to be blown away by the creativity, generosity, and kindness I see moving through the mail.
I’ve seen your pages in the group chats. I’ve seen the photos you’ve shared online. And I’ve been lucky enough to open some pretty amazing envelopes myself.
There is something incredibly fun about walking out to the mailbox and discovering that another little piece of art has arrived. Honestly, I think that has become part of the secret sauce of the Sisterhood Shuffle.
Instead of sending an entire journal around the country and hoping it eventually makes its way home, we’re sending individual pieces of creativity to one another. It’s more affordable, there’s less risk of losing an entire journal, and — maybe best of all — the happy mail keeps coming.
I LOVE that!

💌 Before You Mail Round Three…
I will again go through and check on each group to see who's participating and post updated mailing lists in each group, minus anyone who has decided to bow out or isn't communicating.
❤️ Communication Is Everything
A few sisters have already let their groups know that life circumstances may delay their pages. And that's okay. Life happens.
The most important thing is simply to communicate with your group. A quick message goes a long way and helps everyone know what's going on.
We're building a community here, not just exchanging paper.
Thank you all for making the Sisterhood Shuffle such a warm, creative, and supportive place. I absolutely love seeing your photos, your ideas, and the friendships forming along the way.

This one is going to make everyone's journals feel wonderfully warm and nostalgic.
🥧 AND WE’RE SWAPPING RECIPES!
Along with your Round Three artwork, I thought it would be fun to tuck in a favorite recipe. Think about something that gives you that wonderful warm-and-cozy autumn feeling.
Maybe it’s a soup you make every October.
Your grandmother’s pie recipe.
A Thanksgiving side dish everyone asks you to bring.
Your favorite apple dessert.
A slow-cooker meal.
A family recipe with a story behind it.
Or your own personal “I make this and everyone loses their minds” recipe.
I already know what I’m sending. I have a stuffed pork tenderloin recipe that is TO DIE FOR. Every time I make it, people rave about it, so there is a very good chance that recipe will be making its way into my outgoing Sisterhood Shuffle envelopes this round.
And yes — handwritten recipe cards, decorated recipe cards, vintage-style recipes, little recipe booklets... you can absolutely get creative with this part too!
In fact it might be fun to create a whole Sisterhood Shuffle recipe book. So I'll drop a link on the website for you to submit your receipes there to share too and I'll pull everything together into a downloable cook book.

✂️ HAVE YOU CHECKED OUT THE OTHER SHUFFLES?
The original Sisterhood Shuffle has also started creating some fun little sister communities. We now have activity happening in our ATC Card group, our State Swap group, and our Stash Swap group.
If your craft room is starting to look like a small independent craft store, you may particularly appreciate that last one. 😂
Have something you have way too much of? - Trade it!
Have supplies you don’t use anymore that someone else might love? - Swap them!
Want to put together a little box of goodies and exchange it with another creative?
That’s exactly what the group is there for.
In fact, I think I’m going to put together a couple of boxes from my own stash and post them in the swap group soon, so keep an eye out for those!
💕 NOW I NEED YOUR HELP WITH WHAT COMES NEXT IN JANUARY
When we started the Sisterhood Shuffle, I honestly didn’t know exactly what it would become. Now there are hundreds of us.
And I want to make sure that as we grow, we keep the parts that make this special while making the behind-the-scenes process easier.
Right now, there is a LOT of manual work involved in organizing groups, approving members, moving people around, tracking participation, and getting everyone where they need to be.
So for January 2027, I’m exploring the next evolution of the Sisterhood Shuffle.
Could joining a group become easier?
Should you be able to create your own Shuffle group?
Would you rather choose from different types of groups based on commitment level or interests?
Should we keep our current two-month rounds?
Would you like smaller groups? Larger groups?
Should there be ongoing groups people can join throughout the year?
I want YOU to help me decide.
